The three spires of classical adventuring each possess a family of spheres to their name, and a spheredelver explores each as a unique path.

Trade Tradition

If this is this character’s first level in any class, the spheredelver may select a trade tradition of their choice with an adroit trade rank.

This replaces the fighter/wizard/rogue’s normal class skills

Proficiencies

Spheredelvers are proficient with simple weapons, as well as light armor and bucklers. In addition, if this is this character’s first level in any class, they may select a martial tradition of their choice.

This alters proficiencies.

Blended Training

A communal ritualist gains a combat, magic, or skill talent at 1st level and every odd level thereafter. A communal ritualist’s casting ability modifier determines their operative and practitioner modifiers.

This replaces magic talents but does not make the communal ritualist incompatible with other archetypes that alter or replace the spirit magic class feature.

Adaptable Training

The spheredelver may select one, two, or all three of the Magic Sphere Training, Combat Sphere Training, and Skill Sphere Training features, each of which replaces a certain set of fighter/wizard/rogue class features. If a spheredelver selects exactly two of these options, they may instead exchange the class features taken from both for the Greater Training class feature.

Magic Sphere Training

The spheredelver gains a magic talent at every odd class level and is treated as a Low-Caster. This grants the 2 bonus talents, a spell pool as any regular spherecaster class, and allows the spheredelver to pick a casting tradition if they are not already a spherecaster.

This replaces spells.

Combat Sphere Training

The spheredelver gains combat talents using the proficient talent progression.

This replaces sneak attack.

Skill Sphere Training

The spheredelver gains skill talents using the trained talent progression.

This replaces trapfinding, evasion, uncanny dodge, improved uncanny dodge, and bravery

Greater Training

The spheredelver gains a combat, skill, or magic talent at every class level (or using the Virtuoso talent progression) and is treated as a Low-Caster. This grants the 2 bonus talents, a spell pool as any regular spherecaster class, and allows the spheredelver to pick a casting tradition if they are not already a spherecaster.

Sphere Specialization

At 4th level, a spheredelver selects either an incanter sphere specialization, a conscript sphere specialization, or a professional method, gaining its benefits as if they were an incanter, conscript, or professional of their spheredelver level. If the spheredelver possesses levels in any of these classes, they must select the same specialization or method that they have chosen for that class, but levels in the two classes stack for the purpose of determining the effects of specialization.

A spheredelver can choose not to select a sphere specialization or method, in which case they gain a bonus combat, magic, or skill talent at 4th level and every three levels thereafter.

This replaces school.

Spheredelver’s Knack

In addition to the normal options, a spheredelver may select an extra magic/combat/skill talent, champion, drawback, proxy, and theurge feats, or any feat which has casting as a prerequisite in place of a knack.

This modifies knack
