Ravelers with an exceptional knowledge of magic feel little need to gamble the power of their ravels on pushing their spells further, preferring to supplement their mundane abilities with surges of sudden power.

Hit Dice

The scholastic raveler’s Hit Dice from their raveler levels is decreased to d6.

This modifies the scholastic raveler’s Hit Dice.

Base Attack Bonus

A scholastic raveler’s base attack bonus granted by their raveler levels is equal to ½ their class level.

This modifies the scholastic raveler’s base attack bonus.

Spell Pool

The scholastic raveler gains a small reservoir of energy they can call on to create truly wondrous effects, called a spell pool. This pool contains a number of spell points equal to their level + their casting ability modifier (minimum 1). This pool replenishes once per day after roughly 8 hours of rest.

This replaces limited pool

Amplified Casting

A scholastic raveler is considered a high-caster rather than a mid-caster

This modifies casting.

Prewoven Magic

A scholastic raveler does not gain the magicweaving class feature.

This modifies magicweaving and replaces the bonus talents gained at 2nd level and every 2 levels thereafter.

Scholarly Tools (Ex)

Starting at 5th level, whenever a scholastic raveler unweaves one of their ravels, they may draw or stow an item on their person as part of the same action.

This replaces metaweaving
