Through advanced understanding of their physical form and the otherworldly energies flowing through it, saturators can compress the power in their blood into monumental displays of arcane wrath.

Trade Tradition

If this is this character’s first level in any class, the saturator may select a trade tradition of his choice, and have a competent trade rank.

This replaces the bloodrager’s normal class skills. It can be combined with another archetype which would alter the bloodrager’s class skills or skill ranks per level; if it is, this trade tradition replaces those modifications.

Configured Rage (Ex)

At 1st level, the saturator may choose one of the following variant bloodrage options in place of the normal bonuses from bloodrage. Whatever variant is selected still counts as a bloodrage for the purposes of any spells, feats, and other effects. In addition, the saturator may use his operative ability modifier in place of his Constitution modifier for the purpose of determining his number of rounds of bloodrage per day.

Controlled Bloodrage: The saturator can apply a +4 morale bonus to her Constitution, Dexterity, or Strength. This bonus increases to +6 when he gains greater bloodrage and to +8 when he gains mighty bloodrage. She can apply the full bonus to one ability score or split the bonus between several scores in increments of 2. When using a controlled bloodrage, a saturator gains no bonus on Will saves, takes no penalties to AC, and can still use Charisma-, Dexterity-, and Intelligence-based skills.

Frenzied Bloodrage: The saturator gains a +4 insight bonus to his Strength, as well as a +2 dodge bonus to AC and Reflex saves. These bonuses increases to +6 and +3 when he gains greater bloodrage and to +8 and +4 when he gains mighty bloodrage. While in a bloodrage, the saturator may make an additional attack at his highest attack bonus as part of a full attack, though all attacks made that round suffer a -2 penalty (this includes any attacks of opportunity the saturator might make before his next action).

Unchained Bloodrage: While in a bloodrage, a saturator gains a +2 bonus on melee attack rolls, melee damage rolls, thrown weapon damage rolls, and Will saving throws. In addition, he takes a –2 penalty to Armor Class. He also gains 2 temporary hit points per Hit Die. These temporary hit points are lost first when a character takes damage, disappear when the bloodrage ends, and are not replenished if the saturator enters a rage again within 1 minute of his previous rage. These bonuses increase to +3 and 3 temporary hit points per Hit Die when he gains greater bloodrage and to +4 and 4 temporary hit points per Hit Die when he gains mighty bloodrage. While in a rage, a saturator cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skill (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration (such as spellcasting unless he possesses the blood casting class feature).

This alters bloodrage

Focused Form (Ex)

At 2nd level, the saturator gains the Body Control sphere as a bonus sphere.

At 5th level, the first time each turn the saturator ends a meditation while bloodraging, he regains 1 round of bloodrage.

This replaces uncanny dodge and improved uncanny dodge

Induced Mutations

The saturator has learned to deliberately configure their surging power in a variety of ways and gains exclusive access to the following bloodline mutations.

Bonus Feat (Su)

The saturator gains a combat feat, champion feat, or metamagic as a bonus feat and may select such feats in place of bloodline feats. This replaces the saturator’s 4th-level, 8th-level, 12th-level, or 16th-level bloodline power and may be selected multiple times.

Metamagic Rage (Su)

When applying a metamagic feat to a spell or sphere effect, the saturator can sacrifice additional rounds of bloodrage to apply a metamagic feat he knows to a bloodrager spell or magic sphere effect. This costs a number of rounds of bloodrage equal to twice what the spell’s adjusted level or spell point cost would normally be with the metamagic feat applied (minimum 2 rounds). The metamagic rager does not have to be bloodraging to use this ability. The metamagic effect is applied without increasing the level of the spell slot expended, though the casting time is increased as normal unless the saturator ends a meditation as part of casting. The saturator can apply only one metamagic feat he knows in this manner with each casting. This replaces the saturator’s 8th-level, 12th-level, or 16th-level bloodline power.

Ragespell (Su)

While bloodraging, the saturator may end a meditation as part of casting a spell or creating a magic sphere effect to use his class level as his caster level for the effect.
This replaces the saturator’s 4th-level, 8th-level, or 12th-level bloodline power.

Rage Power (Ex)

The saturator gains two barbarian rage powers. If the saturator chooses rage powers, those rage powers can be used in conjunction with his bloodrage, and his bloodrager level acts as his barbarian level when determining the effect of those bloodrage powers and any prerequisites. Any other prerequisites for a rage power must be met before a primalist can choose it. This replaces the saturator’s 4th-level, 8th-level, 12th-level, or 16th-level bloodline power and may be selected multiple times.

Temporary Bloodlines and Mutations

In the case of bloodrager bloodlines which gain bloodlines temporarily (such as the hemophage), the bloodrager shares the same mutations across all bloodlines. For example, if a hemophage possesses the Blood Piercing mutation, the mutation replaces their 4th-level bloodline power for all bloodlines gained through the absorb bloodline ability.
