Decay Manifest

The plaguebringer must select either the Blood sphere or the Death sphere as her bonus talent gained at 1st level.

This alters the bonus talent gained at 1st level.

Lord of Pestilence

A plaguebringer is a master of disease and filth. At 1st level, the plaguebringer gains the Virulent Ailment feat, even if she does not meet the prerequisites.

At 3rd level, the plaguebringer becomes immune to any effects from diseases. She may still contract diseases and spread them to others, and is instantly aware of diseases she is afflicted with, as well as any non-magical disease a creature within 10 feet of her is afflicted with.

At 7th level, the plaguebringer becomes the host of deadly diseases. She gains the Pathological Host feat, and while using it may become the host of a number of diseases equal to their casting ability modifier, although when infecting a creature with a disease she is the host of, she must choose a single disease.

This replaces resist magic and the mystic combats gained at 4th level and 8th level.

Rotting Smite

Starting at 5th level, the plaguebringer can rapidly accelerate diseases within others. She may use the Virulent Ailment feat with any disease she is currently suffering from or is the host of, not just diseases she can create. When using the Virulent Ailment feat to inflict a disease a creature already suffers from, that creature must instead attempt a new saving throw against the disease. If they succeed at this saving throw, it does not count toward curing the disease, but failure does count towards progressing the disease. If the disease is currently undergoing its onset period, the onset period is skipped and the creature immediately begins suffering from the disease.

Any creatures suffering from a disease due to her Virulent Ailment feat suffer a -2 penalty on saving throws against the plaguebringer’s sphere effects, sphere-like abilities and disease effects.

This replaces the marked ability, which is normally gained at 7th level.
