Divinitech Pilot (Warpriest Archetype) (Champion)
The divine meets steel - whether the holy champion or profane chosen, by imbuing their chariot with their fervor, they become an unstoppable chariot of their lord.
Holy Driver: At 1st level, the divinitech pilot gains the Tinker sphere as a bonus sphere, selecting the (transportation) package, and Dedicated Upgrades as a bonus feat. Any mechanoid built by the divinitech pilot that is granted additional upgrades with the Dedicated Upgrades feat may be interacted with as the divinitech pilot’s “shining mech”.
When piloting their shining mech (or when the shining mech is within the divinitech pilot’s natural reach), the divinitech pilot may do the following:
- Repairing Fervor: The divinitech pilot may repair their shining mech with their fervor, as though healing themselves (regardless of the energy type of their fervor).
- Shared Fervor: When the divinitech pilot uses their fervor to cast a spell, they may target their shining mech instead.
- Shared Sacred Armaments: When the divinitech pilot uses their sacred weapon or sacred armor to empower their equipment, the divinitech pilot may grant those benefits to their shining mech instead (choosing an appropriate piece of equipment, or the shining mech’s body as armor).
This replaces blessings.
Divinitech Upgrades: At 3rd level, the divinitech pilot gains access to the following unique mechanoid upgrades. These upgrades may only be granted to a shining mech.
- Chosen Armaments (upgrade): The shining mech’s wielded weapons and natural attacks benefit from the divinitech pilot’s sacred weapon base weapon dice adjustment (as though it were one of the divinitech pilot’s deity’s favored weapons).
- Prayer-conductive Loops (upgrade) (requires divinitech pilot 10): When the divinitech pilot uses shared sacred armaments ability to grant their shining mech a weapon or armor special ability, they may select an additional +1 weapon or armor special ability in addition to the normal effects. For example, a 12th level divinitech pilot grants their shining mech a +4 enhancement bonus to one of their weapons could also grant that weapon the flaming special ability (or any other ability available to the divinitech pilot).
Mechanical Fervor: At 4th level, the divinitech pilot gains the mechanical fervor personal battery use ability. The divinitech pilot may only have a single instance of mechanical fervor active at a time, +1 per 4 levels after 4th.
- Personal Battery Use [Mechanical Fervor] (2 batteries): Whenever you would use fervor to cast a spell on your shining mech, you may instead deplete two batteries. These batteries are in use for the spell’s duration, and you may only have a single effect cast this way at one time. Using this ability again immediately ends the duration of the previous spell cast this way.
This replaces channel energy.
Supercharged Dedication: At 20th level, the divinitech pilot can cause a shining mech to surge with power. Once per day as a swift action, the divinitech pilot can grant a shining mech a +5 bonus to all attack and damage rolls and saving throws and damage reduction 10/- that stacks with other sources of damage reduction. These benefits only apply while the divinitech pilot pilots the chosen mechanoid. This ability lasts for 1 minute.
This replaces aspect of war.
