Allusionist [3PP]
Table of Contents
Learning from the greatest combatants and manipulators of their time, allusionists build their signature style by mimicking the great techniques and exploits of others.
Learning over Luck (Ex)
The allusionist cannot gain a miss chance with his dodge pool.
This modifies cunning celerity
Eye for Talent (Ex)
At 2nd level, the allusionist gains Technique Crafting as a bonus feat. In addition, whenever the allusionist makes a skill check to learn a technique, create a technique, or identify a feat or talent, he may spend any amount of his dodge pool as part of the check, gaining a +1 bonus to the check for every 5% of the dodge pool spent
Mimic Maneuvers (Ex)
At 4th level, an allusionist figures out how to quickly implement techniques he has witnessed. When he successfully identifies a combat talent or skill talent, he may spend an attack of opportunity and 10% from his dodge pool to add one of the identified talents to his list of talents prepared with spontaneous technique. For every 3 levels beyond 4th, the allusionist may spend an additional 10% from his dodge pool to learn an additional combat or skill talent he has identified. The identified talents remain in the allusionist’s spontaneous technique pool until the next time the allusionist prepares the pool.
At 7th level, an allusionist may add a combat feat he has identified to his spontaneous technique prepared talents as if the feat were a talent.
This replaces dynamic dodge, quicksilver celerity, and skirt death
Flawless Recreation (Ex)
At 13th level, when an allusionist uses his mimic maneuvers ability on a technique, he may spend an additional 10% from his dodge pool to learn the technique itself in addition to any talents. This technique remains in his repertoire for 24 hours and does not count towards the maximum number of techniques in his repertoire. During this period, the interminate may record the technique into a technique script as normal.
Whenever he uses a technique that he does not meet the prerequisites for, the allusionist may make an incredible stunt as part of using the technique to ignore any chance of failure that the technique possesses.
This replaces capricious
Seamless Adaptation (Ex)
At 17th level, the allusionist may spend 10% from his dodge pool to gain an additional talent from his prepared talents when he uses spontaneous technique. In addition, the allusionist may spend 20% from his dodge pool in place of spending a daily use of spontaneous technique
This replaces unfettered alacrity
